Rangers’ projected return date to Ibrox following the Copland delivery was disclosed.

Following the timely delivery of the last shipment of steel required to finish the postponed refurbishment work in the Copland Road Stand, the Rangers are expected to return to Ibrox by the end of the following month. The “aspirational” timelines were described by Chairman John Bennett in a media appearance with the club last month. Furthermore, the Rangers Review is aware that, barring a major delivery on site, the goal of finishing the modifications by the end of September is expected to be achieved.

So far this season, Philippe Clement’s team has played three games at Hampden after an agreement was reached for Rangers to temporarily move across Glasgow. After defeating Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 and winning the Premiership against Motherwell, Clement’s team was eliminated from the Champions League last week. Rangers defeated St Johnstone on Saturday to advance to the Premier Sports Cup final eight.

The matchup between Dundee and the quarterfinals will take place over the weekend of September 21–22. Rangers will host Hibernian in a Premiership match the following Saturday. And for Clement’s team as well as the tens of thousands of season ticket holders who have been compelled to travel to Hampden over the first few weeks of the season, that may be the homecoming match. On Saturday, the Rangers will host Ross County at the national stadium. The final league game before the international break is scheduled on September 1 when the team travels to Celtic for the first Old Firm match of the season.

On Sunday, September 15, Rangers will play Dundee United at Tannadice as they make their homecoming. While Clement’s team awaits the draw for the league phase, their first Europa League match is scheduled for the midweek prior to Hibernian’s visit.

Bennett said to RangersTV, “When I consider timelines, it is an aspiration at this point because, once again, I am caveating it and there is still uncertainty.” Timeliness, in my opinion, is all about when we will finally return home, which is something we all desire for. The question is, when will this happen—before or after the September international break? Although it’s just an aspiration, we can aim for that to happen by the end of September.

I apologise for having to make this disclaimer; it really irritates me, but I believe I’ve covered the main grounds for doing so—the shipping circumstance. Yes, it is my goal to get our people back to our house for the September finale. However, it might go beyond that.
